Nearly all of the Museum's fine collection of wooden objects are on display. These include trays, bowls, and several types of drinking vessels.
Among the most unusual are those containing butter. Although the dates of many wooden objects are difficult to determine, scientific investigation of bog butter and its containers show that burying it was a practice dating back to the Bronze Age (3000 years ago).
